The new restaurant, located at Urho Kekkosen katu 1, will cover approximately 425 square metres, with an additional 150 square metre outdoor seating area, making it one of Bastard Burgers’ largest locations to date. The establishment marks an important step in the company’s continued expansion in Finland and the Nordic region.

The Swedish premium smash burger company Bastard Burgers established its presence in Helsinki in October 2022, when the brand opened its first Finnish restaurant on Mikonkatu. Since then, the restaurant has built a strong local following and become one of the brand’s most successful locations, well-known and loved for its smash burgers, vegan options and casual, street-inspired atmosphere.

It has strengthened our belief that Bastard Burgers and Finland are a great match. We are now looking forward to the next step with a flagship restaurant in Kamppi. We have some exciting plans for the space and the opening weekend, but we will share more details at a later stage.”

Founded in Luleå in northern Sweden in 2016 by a group of friends, Bastard Burgers has grown steadily and today operates around 70 restaurants in Sweden, as well as two locations in Oslo, Norway.
